CHALLENGE: Aviation Fluid Systems had just invented the
world's most advanced aviation paint stripper. Unfortunately,
they had no idea what to name the product or how to position it.
SOLUTION: LFC developed LiftOff from name to package to full
marketing campaign based on the unique way the product penetrates
paint, then lifts it off of metal surfaces. A red 50-gallon drum was also
chosen to stand out from other products on the market, which
use standard, traditional black industrial drums.
RESULT: The industry responded to the product immediately and embraced the brand. Aviation paint technicians clamored for t-shirts with the slogan, "Take It Off, Baby, Take It All Off," increasing talk value and making the product a favorite.
